no more FB?!

The office was kecoh since last week because of the browsing issue. Well, I wouldn’t want to say that we don’t have work to do. But since last year, the amount of work has been decreasing due to many reasons, which one of it because of the economic downturn.

The fact that we are working in a shopping complex, has already creates many loiterers during the office hours, as well as taking such a long lunch break. For myself, I’m guilty as a sin. I’m a frequent flier to the famous ‘Technology Hub’ nearby and Chop Shops from Bolton to Puchong!

Perhaps, by ‘look look busy’ is better than being downstairs. In a way, browsing internet would be the in thing for us now. There you’ll find the FBians that love to chat, ambik tahu hal orang and the most unacceptable in my right mind…bercucuk tanam and memancing! Also you will find forumners that relates to who are they during off day. Not to forget, bloggers like me!

Now, the people are taking another exit, which is spending more time during the cigi break. I wonder whether the GOVERNMENT will take another stupid action about it. The lost of the hardcore during 3 years has made our ‘vulnerable time’ labeled as ‘curik tulang’.

They as the GOVERNMENT have to understand, that this is a 2nd waved, and I as one of the nested people feels that this is too much. Promises after promises and actually nothing is being done.

The valid step is to find the exit and move on!

politically correct

I have received an email on how much does a Camry cost in Malaysia comparing to US and some other countries. The issue was mainly focuses on tax imposed by our government to import cars. And of course, being a decent person, I have forwarded the email to few of my colleagues. And it was a mix of clans from those that are supporting the government and those that have different opinions on how the government should rule Malaysia.

Interesting enough, even you have been pushed or bullied, you still able to give reasons just for the sake of supporting the ruler by denying the useless of the policies.

Some of responds to many cynical comments;

"Ini bukan kutuk…I’m not against the government…I love my one Malaysia. But they need to revamp their policies…at least some of the obvious policies. Ni bukan zaman kuku besi…this is the x generation. There are more reasoning that just following the instructions. Macam mana nak tawan pemuda join government, if they themselves don’t believe in the practicality of the rules. Ini bukan kutuk, but more on consciousness.

The concern is not only on how ridiculous is the price of the petrol, but now…the quality and the availability. Have a grade A petrol, we sell it with a high price, and in return we xchange with a lower price petrol and sell it to Malaysian. We are paying a high price for a low quality petrol…pandainya…even more pandai, when they come out with ron 95 and selling it with slightly lower price (kononya) than current. The actual fact, it should have been the ron 97’s price! Dengar2 yg pakai ron 95, kena tipu. Ron 95 lambat bakar, and turn up, the usage is greater than ron 97. So penyudahya, sama jer…what about the availability? Sickening…I’m driving a 25 years old car…a good solid conti. European countries are using ron 1++ already. Conti cars are not fit to use ron 95, it will eat up the engine…would love to share some of experiences facing by my other friends, but that is not the point. The point is, ada 4 petrol station at batu 3 heading to HICOM, none of them are selling ron 97, this is only to make my point…3rd world country ker kiter…all these are BS big time!

What to do…after this, the govt will make a living hell for owners that are driving old cars, every year nak kena mengadap our beloved JPJ, DUIT LAGI…LUBUK TUH…and we are forced to buy the national car. Bank dok menunggu gumbira tunggu kita buat car loans…belajar berutang sampai 9 years…bila kira2, we are actually paying double or even triple of the actual price of the car…interest melangit…even if I’m eligible for the loans, I wouldn’t…I’m using an old car, but I have the financial freedom! Tak kan nak berutang sampai mati?!! And what about the safety? Are we gonna compromise on the safety? Don’t even get me started on that!

This is in the name of one Malaysia…"

Above respond was made when a colleague touched on the politic beliefs. And it continues when another collegue made a statement that paying tax is good for helping the Country it seems. My respond;

"Kita bukan berpolitik…but good enough to find out whtr kita sedar x sedar wht is going on around us…our money, is our concern. Apa yg government decide now, will affecting our country in the next 10years…hutang lapuk yg dulu, di tanggung oleh pelapis baru…and what will happen to our future pelapis? Same shits isn’t it? we have to put a stop. X yah masuk politik…u have the voting power, and that is a valid channel…and that is how u ‘tolong’ government understand the real facts yg rakyat kena tanggung all this while…bukan tolong dgn bayar tax membabi buta, dgn toll, dgn minyak mahal, dgn tax imposed for import cars…"

My final statement came out only when some made some ridiculous remarks;

"Skepticism yang dibawa ages ago, mesti di hentikan. Witness the scenarios, get your facts, and lets start talking. Back to basic. Dah nak separuh mati compete ngan non-bumis kat negara sendiri, ni malay yang seagama pun nak dibelasah. Those yang kerja ngan GLC, congrats, those yang ada politics connection, way to go…but they don’t understand the fights that we have to face everyday…be wise, and stop being judgmental. This issue was tabled only for discussing, for your intelligence opinions, not bashing those who didn’t have the faith as u are. Thanks for your opinions. We shall again…"

"If this is about politics, then be politically correct. Not being politically correct, is just another way to tip toe through the barnyard and not getting manure on your shoes...you don’t track any in the house...but you still smell like shit..."

why blogging?!

And why not blogging?
Of course we have read lots of others...and thinking of having one, like ages ago. And why now only? Well, traffic at the workstation is less now. So I guess, it would be nice to do something about it. Yup, the excessive usage of FB has alarmed the GOVERNMENT and now they are monitoring the frequencies and how many bites are consuming by the people. Well to me...you can't deny the technology, whats hips and not. So, we shall see how many miles I would go with this page...

Salam and have a healthy mind, body and soul!

may arwah's soul rest in peace

This will be the day I started my blog...
